    Default HVMenu behind "SimpleViewer"

    1) Script Title: HVMenu

    2) Script URL (on DD): http:www.dynamicdrive.com/dynamicindex1/indexc.html

    3) Describe problem: I am trying to use "SimpleViewer" which is a free picture viewer my web host is providing. I am having trouble with the HVMenu going behind. Have read the threads here, but the coding is different and cannot find out where and what to edit to fix this.

    the url for the page is: www.saintjohnlutheran.net/1_worshipnew.html and the "SimpleViewer" is from airtightinteractive.com

    Any help would be more than appreciated!

    Thanks in advance - Susan

    You need to set the wmode to transparent. With what you are using, I think you would do that like so:

    Code:
    	<script type="text/javascript">
    		var fo = new SWFObject("viewer.swf", "viewer", "100%", "100%", "3", "#dddddd");
    		fo.addVariable("preloaderColor", "0xffffff");
    		fo.addVariable("xmlDataPath", "gallery.xml");
    		fo.setAttribute("wmode","transparent");
    		fo.addParam("wmode","transparent");
    		fo.write("flashcontent");
    	</script>

    Thank you John. Again you have come to my rescue. This SimpleViewer is really slick. Now I have to figure how I can use it on more than one page!!

    Well, there is this:

    and, even the 'manual instructions' don't look too complicated. You probably need to have a separate folder for each viewer and have a copy of the viewer files and folders in each one.

    Hi, have been to the site and I do my own coding except for javascripts. They are way too complicated for my brain!! I sometimes use FrontPage just for a visual feel, and then put the coding into EditPad and clean up the mess that FP makes of it.
