Bypassing X Amount of Uses

Is there a way to bypass any "X amount of uses" restrictions websites place on you. For example, with www.rhapsody.com, it limits the amount of free listens you can have with its media player per month. I'm guessing this is not done through cookies, but perhaps by logging IP addresses? (I'm not too savvy at this stuff.) Any help would be appreicated. Thanks.

Oh, and in general, would you happen to know of any good (and free) sound recording software, so I would be able to record music off any online radio?

Usually cookies. If so, you can delete the cookie. If not, you can use a proxy.

mplayer -dumpstream will do it.

If you log in, it's probably server side.

(You don't log in.) In this case, I actually think it's a program you have to install on your computer, because you have to have it installed to run their music, and because proxies didn't change the amount of "songs left". I'm going to try installing it on my sisters computer and immediately do a file search on newly created files or files that were recently changed after waiting a few minutes before the installation. And if I do come across something, I'll simply copy the file and try using it on the computer I use.
