Default SlashDot Menu - Change roll over state on main bar

    1) Script Title: SlashDot Menu

    2) Script URL (on DD): http://www.dynamicdrive.com/dynamicindex1/slashdot.htm

I am a new user to the forum and have a question / need help solving a function on the SlashDot menu script. I am Trying to have the main menu items to have a roll over state (maybe the text or background). Also am trying to have some main menu items to not have sub-menus.

Thanks in advance for the advice from the masters!!

    Jeff

    Default great new version....nice touches!

I have another question, but not sure if someone else has already posted it....

site setup: site layed out with header (with a swf file) / left column / right column / footer style, using slashdot down the left column, menu items collapsed.

problem: the user can't see the title & body text in the right column until they run the mouse over it.

Could it be conflicting css code from slashdot menu?

    browser version: PC IE 6

Thanks in advance if anyone knows the problem/solution!

    Hi ictinus,

Thanks for taking a look to see if the css code is causing the IE 6 glitch. I sent you the info via email.

    Thanks again,

    Default Did you find anything?

    Incitus,

When you went on the site. Did you see anything wierd? I am coding on a MAC so I can't see any of the issues. It works great on Safari.

Thanks for looking and am grateful to learn from coding masters like yourself.

    Thanks again!

Sorry chameleondg, I've only managed to look at it with Firefox under linux so far.
I expect to get a moment tomorrow to look again and I'll let you know.
    Cheers,
