highlighted text in page after link clicked

Is there a way that you can give someone a link that will take them to a page that has some text highlighted on it that isn't normally highlighted? Example: you find something cool in a page full of text. You send a link with something else to someone else and they click on it and go to that page with what you have highlighted. I don't know if this is possible. JF


Could this be moved to the general coding category please? I didn't realize I was putting it in CSS.
