float: left messes up content

Here is the page I am working on right now. When the logo is defined to float left it makes the title look how it should with alignment. If you notice, there is another column that is there that doesn't have anything in it. That comes from the float: left definition. How can I get rid of the left column so the content looks how it should? Thanks for any help, JF

never mind. I just had to move the picture up because it was in the other divs way.
