Chained Select Menu script and PHP Sessions

Hi all

I am using the chained select menu script from the dynamic drive website:

I have amended the config.js so the drop downs lists are as I need them. There is the option in the config.js file for either alert or goto as the actions when the button is pressed.

The first creates a js alertbox with some text specifed in the config script, the second directs the browser to a url. I need the user to be directed to a url but carry a php session variable that relates to the options they have selected.

i.e. if dropdown 1 is company a and drop down 2 is department c then variable x is life department
