    Default Embed Font

Why won't the font show up? http://www.sweets-n-treats.com/aboutus.html (it's the font at the very top that is incorrect)

EDIT: Don't pay attention to the hover over images on the menu and what-not. . . The site is not finished, and some of those images are temporary. . .

vizier heavy is the only font you have listed ya?

I have about 800 fonts installed out of the 5200 fonts I have total. Vizier Heavy is not one of them... You will want to list alternative fonts, or if it's imperative that you have your cool looking font, create the header as an image, then just text tag it for the spiderbots.

Thank you, but I am trying to embed the font so that it WILL show up, even if you don't have it. The question is, what am I doing wrong?

It's not possible. There's an IE-only technology called WEFT, but it was big and bulky and no-one -- not even the all-excluding IE-lovers -- have used it for years. I don't know if it's even supported any more.

IT IS possible, and it is supported in IE, NS, and I believe OP as well (and I have used WEFT). Does anyone know what I am doing wrong?

Honestly, I wouldn't mess with that. Either use images, or use a regular font...which is what the users would probably prefer anyway.

It is not supported by anything other than IE.

Twey: There is a way to make it work in other browsers as well (by defining the font in CSS, I think. . . ), though I don't think you can make it work in FF

If you all insist on not embedding a font, I suppose I will do something else instead. . .

    Thanks for your help,

There definitely isn't a way to make WEFT work in other browsers. It may be possible to use some alternative technology, though I've never heard of it; if there is, I'd be interested to know of it.
