    Default Please help with Suckertree drop down menu

    Sucker Tree Menu

    I hate to keep bothering you people, but I do need your help. I'm new at this and have worked for hrs, and still have a few flaws. First of all, I only want help with the menu part of the webpage, I use homestead sitebuilder, and have no control of their html. I can't change it, and those of you that said I had errors, it's homestead's errors you were referring to.

    In my menu, in the top level link items, there is extra space where I have sub level items, under heading of "Collectibles" and "Figurines." Can someone tell me what my problem is there??? When my arrow goes on those spaces, the menu disappears. I'm sure theres simple solution, but I just can't figure it out. Please help!!! Thank you in advance.

    Lose all of your borders and margins. See if that fixes it... If that's it, just don't use top borders and see if that helps.

    Default Need help with horizontal menu

    When I set the borders to 0, I lost the white borders, except the wide borders, the ones causing the problem. Could the problem be in the menu part? Also, using foxfire browser, I dont have this problem.

    Any other suggestions???

    Did you completely remove the padding to test it? That 5px padding sure looks to be about the right size for that space that is causing the problem.

    Let me know if that doesn't work.

    At some point I assume you'll put in a a:hover command also? I always like to see a minor change in color to know it's an actual link on mouseover.

    I tried that, but it didn't work, but I did find the answer to my problem in another forum. Someone said, your problem is not the li or ul element, but
    instead your img. In your CSS, add the following to #left-top-nav img

    vertical-align: bottom;

    That will push the image down and remove the space.
    It worked like a charm. Soooo glad to have that out of my way.

    Now, can you instruct me of the hover issue? Sounds like a very good idea.

    Unhappy Same Problem

    I am having the same problem with the space between the drop down boxes ... before publishing the are about 5 px apart. When published they are exactly the distance of the box apart.

    Please advise.Thank you ... viki barefoot
