Default manually operated XML feed to web page box

    Hi--
Everything in the XML/RSS category of scripts comes close to what I want.

My particular requirement however, is that in a small box on the web page, one message shows when the page is loaded.

Then I want a forward indicator that allows the user to click and the message in the box will change to the next msg. in the XML file.

In other words, I don't want anything automatic or moving unless the user wants it.

I also don't want tons of JS on the home page. I think this should be fairly simple, but darned if I can find anything, or figure out what to do about it.

My client will be emailing me bits and pieces to add to the file as they occur and I simply want to have the latest one loaded and the rest remaining to be cycled through by the user.

Any one have any ideas?? Thanks much.

Default or maybe an external JS could be called

. . . where each item is a variable in an array??

The button brings up the next one?

Everytime my client sends me a new snippet I simply add to the array??

But, then, would it be possible to correctly position the text in the right place on the web page?? (Page is CSS design.)

    arghhh -- brain getting twisted.
