How things appear on different computers.

I use pretty basic html on all the sites I make.
I set at 100%. On my CRT screen, everything looks perfect.
However, on my hubby's wide screen LED computer screen, my pictures all appear elongated and dreadful. People look fat and wide and animals look like freight trains.
Is there a way to make things look properly on all the different screens?

Either the aspect ratio of those monitors is wrong, and this would be the case for all websites, meaning you should look into the settings for resolution on the computer.

Aside from that, the issue might be percentage based widths of your images.

I think it might be LCD not LED. LED's are light emitting diodes while LCD's are Liquid Crystal Displays

Thank you for all your replies.
I set the width of my pages - if I happen to use a border table, to 100%.
However, I've noticed on pages with no borders and where I have not set a width, on my hubby's computer, things are stretched in the pictures, even though of course I add the correct height and width for them.

I'm leaning toward thinking this is a problem with the settings on his monitor, not your pages. Does it have the same trouble for other pages?
Go to the desktop, right click, go into properties, the last tab, and find a resolution that fits better. (On a mac, it's in the system properties>display.)
does that fix it?

This is just one page on a site I made for a friend.

In the picture at the top, on my computer (4 yr.old Dimension4300/17" screen) and in the original photo of the stallion, he has a pretty short back, as he does in life.
However, on my hubby's wide screen, (new Dell Dimension E521/19"screen) the horse shows with a long back. Not good for people in the breed to see a stallion with a long back as you can imagine.
I have not been able to check this out on any other wide screens though.
How does it appear on yours?
