    Default Download Counter

    Is there such a thing, im looking for some way to keep track of the items people can download from my site, is there any way of doing this

    Certainly, though I'm not sure of the quality of anything you'll find on the Web.

    At the very least, you'll need a Web host that provides a server-side language, such as Java or Python (rare), or PHP or ASP. A database system such as PostgreSQL or MySQL would be useful, too, for storing the information.

    In my experience, hosts tend to provide Python (if only because it's now a fairly common part of *n?x installations) but only as CGI.
