Hi all...this is my first post, and it will be apparent that I'm NOT a programmer!

A pop-up layer is precisely what I need for my project, where multiple links appear on each page, and each would use a different id...subcontent 1, subcontent 2, etc.

What I would like to do is add the required CSS to my main CSS (I can do that), put the actual script on a remote page (I can do that, too), and put the <DIV id's> on yet another remote page, with the links calling them up. That I can't do.

The format of the site is HTML, and not .php. Can this be done?

Rather than move the content to an external file, I'm going to keep it on the same page as it appears. Making changes will be much easier that way.
