drop down menu with sub categories

Hey,

I was wondering if it was possible to have 2 drop down menus, one as the main category and the other as a sub category so when you select the main category the sub drop down menu loads the respective sub menus of that category. Kind of what rottentomatoes has in their tomato picker but without having to refresh the whole page to load the sub genres. http://www.rottentomatoes.com/movies...mpaa=&x=23&y=3
