I'm a novice (I admit it) when it comes to Web Design.

I can basically 'copy & paste' script I need and edit it accordingly, but that's bush league. And, it doesn't help me get past learning how to flex HTML coding like most of us playing a good game of chess. Similar basis - limited set of rules to play by, but unlimited option for variables within the rule set.

I'm learning slowly to teach myself how to play with PSP 7.0, Adobe Illustrator, and PhotoShop - the newer CS versions I have yet to get my hands on. When I was in IT, that type of software was a lot easier to get my hands on.

I run a Fan Club and need certain images we use on Banners, Tees, etc., and I do have an AI file that (if I knew how) I would like to separate into separate parts, for flexing inside web design.

Currently, we have existed by using the WYSIWYG inside the MSN Groups Free Web capabilities .... we have certainly grown beyond that stage. Certain functions are simply not allowed on the MSN website(s) and we need to become larger than life after a certain fashion.

Is there anyone who can assist me in this aim? Possibly be a mentor (?)

While I've learned a long time ago, that all processes inside comupting have a relevance in mechanics ... it's the grey areas, where I usually need a nudge .... (I remember when I first learned what right-clicking on something could tell you).

Anyone ?
