Default Light Box Image Viewer - frame size

    1) Script Title: Light Box Image Viewer

    2) Script URL (on DD): http://www.dynamicdrive.com/dynamici...tbox/index.htm

    3) Describe problem: Is it possible to limit the size of a photograph/image displayed in the overlay frame after clicking on the thumb nail? The problem is the original photographs I have are a much larger resolution than the largest of computer screens and it is awkward having to scroll around the photograph. I would like to see the photographs to fit within in a prescribed resolution or size and without having to create another set of images (as in the case of the thumbnails) because I want people to be able to download the original photograph when they choose to right click on the photo.

I will be grateful for any help on how to prescribe a set size for the overlay frame. Thank you

Using "much larger" images might slow down page loading time considerably, especially for dialup users.
    Consider this when deciding.

You might want to try this script:

    Thanks for the java script.

I concede the point of file being too large to load up and through a simple batch process I could generate smaller files for display. But how do you ensure that the user, when they choose a picture to download, will receive the original rather than a cropped version? Is there any html or scripting that can allow this to happen?
