Please Help! Counting up script

I have been looking all around but I cant find a script that counts up in the way I need.

What I would like to have is like this. 1000 is spent each day. (blank) has been spen while you were on the site.

Basicly if I put in a number then the counter on the web page will tell how much of it has been done while people were on the page.
