    right click, go to "properties" then in properties, go to "Summary"
    Some songs don't let you edit this, though. I just use iTunes and edit the info through that.

    If you use Winamp to play MP3 files, winamp lets you edit the info by pretty much the same method as what alex posted above.

    Thanks to both for your inputs.
    I have edited the mp3 music and uploaded to put on my site. Is it possible to have the info protected so that no one could edit it?

    As far as I'm aware, anyone who has access to the file (whether it be downloded from your site or not) can change the info on it. Not 100% on this though.

    Well; as I said before, if you are in Winamp and using MP3s you can edit the info instantly. Not sure what you could do to make it more difficult to edit the file info, but I'm pretty sure that if you Google it you could find the answer.
