rotating image

i have html down ok. but thats about it. i'm just getting back into actualy programming of websites and not just pretty pictures.

we're revamping our website at the store i work in and want to:

1) have several different areas where an image will rotate each time the page is refreshed.

2) have images that rotate as the paage is being viewed.

refresh the page and watch the picture under the nebula

i know its flash, but its a perfect example i knew offhand. i'd like to replicate the circular rotating link on the right hand side in a non-flash method, except with pictures.

any help that would get this re-noob back on his feet would be GREATLY appreciated.
