border arround area tag

Hi,

I am using map.

<IMG SRC="sitemap.gif" ALT="Site map" USEMAP="#mymap" WIDTH=300 HEIGHT=200>

I want to show black border arround each area and also show hover effect.

User will know where are are tags on viewing the image.

How can I do this.

I tried to add border of area tag. but to no result.
How can we show area tags in frames.

Any other alternative.
