dynamically loading tagged text?

Hello all,

What I would like to do is somehow tag a single text file so it dynamically loads into different div’s or tables within an html page.

The point behind this is to stop the developers from making copy changes and edits to the content that the writers have marked up and passed along. I would like the writer’s to modify their MS Word docs and the export them to the appropriate directory as a txt. File so the html pages are dynamically updated.

I’m not much of a developer but I know something similar to this has been done somewhere.

Does anyone have any good suggestions or directions?

A couple of years ago, I stumbled across a DHTML game engine called Gamelib. Within this engine, there was a function like the one you are describing. Does this help?

No clue what you mean. Do you have any visualizations or anything? And define "tag". How do you plan to load and edit the file with JS(without using any server-side language such as PHP)? As far as I know, it can't be done.
