    Default css with javascript

    do you think i NEED to learn css before i learn javascript or is it not essential

    i didnt know wether to put this in the css or javascript forums

    They are quite different languages, but I would say learn CSS before JS for a couple reasons. First off, it is very easy to learn. Hell, I think it is easier than HTML. And secondly, JS can utilize CSS to do cool things.

    Learning basic CSS shouldn't take long at all. If you want to get into JS quickly, browse over CSS and then use reference guides to use CSS when needed.

    Yes, you need to know CSS to make even basic (decent) web pages. It's almost as vital as HTML.
