Searching Multiple Sites at Once?

Lets say you want to search a number of music sites for a new band is it possible to do this without having to visit each site? Is there another clever website which searches a number of sites at once.

And I mean not just Google because it wont be detailed enough.

Thanks what if you specific sites in mind. Such as myspace, youtube and purevolume. I find it tiresome having to search copy and paste the same search term into different websites.

You could write a script, I suppose, that would open up a new window for each site you want to search.
Or play with the controls on google, such as the keyword "or".
