Hello, and question
Hey, first of all, I wanted to introduce myself in this forum. I am an amateur webmaster, 17 years old, and look forward to contribute to this board in any way I can. I also have a question. My knowledge consists of basic HTML, CSS, Javascript, and some Flash. I can create some pretty descent websites, but I have ran into the "browser compatibility" problem. I heard there are some techniques that you can use with CSS in order to work around some of these problems. The question is, what book would you recommend to learn about these web standards? I have already bought CSS Mastery: Advanced Web Standards Solutions. Was this a wise choice? If not, I'll have to read it anyway
, but I wanted to know what you think.

A... "book?" What is this strange thing of which you speak?
If you design sites according to standards, they will in most cases work in all browsers. In the cases where a browser has bugs that prevent it from working (this is usually IE), you can usually find fixes with that wonderful engine, Google. There's no wizardry required.
