Unhappy Tooltip question (I'm goin' nuts.)

This tooltip script is so gorgeous:

    Cool DHTML tooltip II
    http://www.dynamicdrive.com/dynamici...mltooltip2.htm

But I need help on a 2 things (they're interrelated)...

    1) The tooltip will only display the arrow image when the link you mouse over is on the left side of the page. When my link is on the right of the page, the arrow won't show at all. Pointedly, how do I make the arrow image appear on the RIGHT of the tooltip vs. the left? (I already tried changing every word in the script that says "left" to "right" but it didn't work.)

    2) I can add several different tooltips to my page by inserting the scripts once, and then just customizing the onmouseover function for each individual link I want a tooltip on. But in regards to the question above, if I need some arrow tooltips on the left, and some on the right... how will I differentiate this for each one?

Thank you for reading my post.

hmmm there's unfortunately no easy way to do this with this script. An alternate script you may want to look at that shows a pointer regardless of the position of the tooltip is this one: http://www.dynamicdrive.com/dynamici...oontooltip.htm

Thanks so much for the reply!

Wow, that one looks hard, LoL. I'll have to try it out tonight when I get some time on my hands. If I run into any problems, I guess I'll bump the thread.

Like the original script I was trying, do you know if I can use a custom image on this one as well (maybe by renaming my graphic to whatever's in the script)? My whole point of using the script is that I have a custom pic that looks so great in it.

    Thanks in advance!
