    Question Ajax and external websites

    1) Script Title:
    Ajax Tabs Content script

    2) Script URL (on DD): http://www.dynamicdrive.com/dynamici...tent/index.htm

    3) Describe problem:

Being new at this, I am writing to verify. Is it absolutely not possible to display external websites within tabs? For example, instead of the 'bird picture and content' to display the Yahoo.com home page, instead of the 'dog picture and content' to display the Myspace.com home page etc' .

    Thanks much in advance

You might be able to do something like that if the external page you are loading has an iframe on it and the src attribute of the iframe is the external site. Some sites block this though.

Think about it though, these external sites belong to their respective owners and are not meant for you or others to use as your content. There is no real sense in having a site of your own if it is all other sites' content anyway.
