Need help with DIVS

Hi

I am making my website using CSS and DIVs instead of tables. I need an urgent help from experts.

I have three sections in my site, HEADER, CONTENT and FOOTER.
I have got the header section neatly showing up but when I went on to make the CONTENT DIVs it shows up over my HEADER DIVs. Can someone please tell me what do I need in my DIVs in order to show them right after my HEADER ends. My header divs are mainly all images and I have my whole page in a container nicely. Anyhelp would be greatly appreciated.
I am lil new to divs/css
