Default Ultimate Fade-In Slideshow (v1.5) Error: 'length' is null or not an object

    1) Script Title: Ultimate Fade-In Slideshow (v1.5)

    2) Script URL (on DD): http://www.dynamicdrive.com/dynamici...nslideshow.htm

    3) Describe problem: getting error "Error: 'length' is null or not an object".
I placed the js in an external file (although leaving it internal generates the same error).
Am running this script on a local install where i am testing. I uploaded it to www.pritchardwebpages.com but as this is a joomla website you will need to select 018_cc to view this template. I have included the code below.

Searched the forum, could not find this problem listed. Am not a javascript guru so could use some help.

    External js is this:

    </script>

    .....</html>

"length" in only used in the external js file which i copied straight from the dd site.

The script works well, but i keep getting that error.
Any help would sure be appreciated as I don't know what else to try.

    Thanks so much,
    Mike
PS if you go to the website you will see the other problem i am having, which is the slide show plays all the way through before all the images will load on the page. Haven't found an answer for that yet either.

Ahhhhhhhh, now i really feel dumb.
Rebooted and problem solved, except for that all the fader images have to load before the page finishes loading.

If you know a solution for that, it would be cool.
    thanks,
    mike

    Swiss Army Slide Show:

    http://www.dynamicdrive.com/dynamici...army/index.htm

Can be configured to look just like Ultimate fade-in slide show and uses a similar (not exactly the same) array of images. However, it incrementally loads the fading images, three to start out and two more with each fade-in until all are loaded.

Notes: In IE, if one of your images is missing (not on the server), the script will stop. In all browsers, if an image is taking a while to load, the script will wait until it is loaded to begin fading it in.
