How to save image to computer ?

Hello,

I'm currently building a picture database CD-ROM.

Once the picture is previewed, the user should have the possibility to download the picture either in hi-res or in lo-res. So, I've created two links.

Unfortunately I currently can't find any existing javascript function that does the following : when you click on the link, the javascript function should take the picture from the right directory on the CD (i.e.: "images/72dpi/lores_picture.gif") and save it on the "C" drive of the client's computer.

Can somebody help ?
