Freewebs for me was the best. Do you have comcast? If you do they give you free webspace that is better than freewebs, you just need your own webpage editor. Also try Geocities. I am not sure if they still are around or what but I used to use them. If that does not work try Angelfire. Currently Comcast provides me with my webspace.

Anyone else have any times please share them.

Oh, Thankx man. And no, i don't have comcast. But freewebs, The only reason i don't like it because i can't upload more then 50 files. And the geocities, I don' t know if you have much webspace or not. I'll try Anglefire. And i'll be coming back to look for me ideas on which is best for webhosting (that is free of course).

Also google it. You can find tons of stuff on google. Plus you can search for certain things. If you want webspace to show images and such you want something with a lot of space and a high bandwidth. Another thing is for images make them smaller to the size you want on the webpage instead of having these huge pictures that you use <img src="URL" width="px" height="px"> to define their sizes just do it before you upload them. Another thing that is good to use is adobe photoshop (if you have it) you can automatically turn GIF files (which are a little larger then JPEG) into JPEG files. You can also choose the quality and it tells you the load times and everything for different internet connections. Another tip for conserving file limits is if you have any pictures which are right next to each other open them up in photoshop (or paint) and highlight the entire thing and cut it then paste them both into one file. This will allow you to have two pictures but make it look like one. Another thing is avoid cluttering up your website with really small images that are used to fill the background and such. If you want a pattern on the side and want to conserve file ammounts use div tags then fill them with different colors. You can stretch out your image limits. I learned how to do that with freewebs when I was using them. lol.

For photoshop, you need to make layouts then you need to slice them in the program. If you don't want to slive them in the program than add divs and give it the position absolute attribute. If you have dreamweaver you should be able to drag it to the position you want without typing in percents or pixels. But slice it because that will work better. Get to learn photoshop because that can become of the webmasters best design tools.

I barely know how to use the slicing tool but I think you just outline what you want sliced... I use divs because it is easy for me to make a div and then just go into Frontpage and move it around. Oh yeah and thanks.. currently I am working on a website for my track team http://home.comcast.net/~allbonz89/track which is nothing really and it is full of problems.
