Angry Slashdot Menu Not Collapsing/Expanding in IE

    1) Script Title: Slashdot menu

    2) Script URL (on DD): http://www.dynamicdrive.com/dynamicindex1/slashdot.htm

    3) Describe problem:

The menu just doesn't seem to want to work in IE. I suspect it might be something with the asp masterpages but if thats the case then it should not work in Firefox.

You can preview my menu here

I did a quick test and just created a normal aspx page, added a folder there, added the css and javascript files. The menu worked fine in both browsers. However when I added the masterpage, things stopped working (only in IE though).

If anyone could possibly point me at some things to look at, or maybe even a possible solution I would greatly appreciate it.

    Thanks!

It seems to work fine in IE7 on Windows XP (home and pro), as well as FF. Not sure what the problem could be.

I see the problem when using IE6. It appears to be a conflict with MenuAdapter.js

Saving a copy locally and commenting out that reference allowed the sdmenu to work, but i guess the other menu will not.

Also, both menus appear to wrap, which doesn't look like it was expected.
ie. 'Contact' sits under 'Product', and each of the sdmenu top levels wrap to two lines.

I think the problem is that there are two 'onload' being set.
One in MenuAdapter.js, the other in the html for sdmenu.

    Thanks for the help!

Now I have to find a way to somehow fix it. Although its not a showstopper if it doesn't ever get resolved.

    Once again thanks!

Just in-case anyone else runs into this problem I found a very simple and clean solution here
