I'm wondering if its possible to disable editing when your in viewsource mode with it, i have little knowledge with javascript so i don't have a clue how to come across something like that could anyone give me a hand?

Basically i don't want it to do anymore i just want it so you can't edit anything in html mode to stop people adding stuff that doesn't need to be added, <script> ect.

This script is a pain to alter. I've tried some stuff (with limited JS knowledge myself) and it's hard.

I assume you are doing this for security reasons... don't. People can override JS if they want. You need to do a server side security method of removing any potentially harmful content from the input. Try PHP. (Or ASP, CGI, etc.)

This is in the wrong forum. It belongs in the Dynamic Drives Script Help forum, so I'm moving it there.
