Encrypt Password Instructions

I'am new to the forum but not the site. I've been using the codes of this site and impressed with it for quite some time know. Anyways back to what I was originaly here for.

I'am here to ask for a code, you currently have it on your site but the instructions make no since, either that or I myself just don't understand them. It is the Encrypt Password code. I don't seem to understand the instructions so I was wondering if someone could give me a link to another code, or help me out with the one on this site.
