It's a very cool script, thanks :-)
I just have a couple of minor issues:
i) in my app at: http://maps.camdencyclists.org.uk/de...ent/allroutes/
the icon images don't appear at first, only after the item is expanded (but then it remains when contracted).

ii) it would be really useful if my JS program could receive an event whenever an item is expanded/contracted.
