    Default Annoying Slow Downs and Questions While Internet Browsing

    Hey guys... yet another issue

    I can't seem to browse the internet cleanly without any issues. MANY TIMES... I will encounter a question being asked to ' connect sympatico' (sympatico being the internet provider) but we are already connected....nothing loads up and I simply just press 'cancel' all the time

    More over, just recently... ' This document contains no data' seems to be popping up as i click things... ie.. posting on this board, it will probably show up when I press Post... but it'll still come up

    more over.. the internet is just ridiculously slow.. as well as my computer. Simple things like enlargening a window takes 20-30 seconds... closing a window takes almost a minute... clicking to the desktop.. takes forever.. small things like that

    are they fixable? thanks guys

    sounds like you have a adware/virus problem. you can also do a registry clean. If that doesn't fix your problem then I suggest you get a new ISP or ask if they can do some maintanence as their servers are slow

    • Use Firefox.
    • Download These Programs:
      • Avast Antivirus
      • Spybot Search And Destroy
      • Adware SE
    • Run The programs from step 2.
    • Start menu->Programs->accessories->Scandisk
    • Start menu->Programs->accessories->Defrag
    • Start menu->Programs->accessories->Disk Cleanup

    that covers everything you do to keep windows running well.

    I think rachel is a spam-bot. If you have a problem, you usually reply to your own post to update everyone. Plus, all 3 of her/his/its posts have been a similarish question, and no reply.
