Lightbox 2.03 help

3) Describe problem:
I've added the lightbox to my site and I can't get it to work. I've tried lightbox v1 and v2.03 and all they do is open the image as a link, not in the lightbox itself. My site is http://www.dellaguardiacity.com/portfolio/dgcity.shtml . I have the lightbox on each page with images. Does anyone have any ideas as to what I'm doing wrong?

You have an edited version of scriptaculous.js. Replace it from the one from the distribution archive.

I used that lightbox.js code and it still isn't working like it's supposed to. any other ideas?

The only thing that I can see is that lightbox.css is not on the server. Try uploading that and it should work as it is supposed to.

mburt doesn't seem to have understood your set up, his suggestion isn't applicable to what you have on the server. If you've replaced your lightbox.js with the one he suggests, you will need to get a fresh copy from the archive I've linked to below.

thetestingsite is partly right about the css but, it is on the server, change its location in your portfolio/dgcity.shtml file to:

<link rel="stylesheet" href="css/lightbox.css" type="text/css" media="screen" />

Here is the location of scriptaculous.js on your server:

Here is the location of the distribution archive on Dynamic Drive:

Take the copy of scriptaculous.js from it and replace yours. Clear your cache and hope for the best.
