Great DD script could use a FF-friendly update!

A solution was proposed at one time, but it changed too much about what I love about this script originally (as it exists on http://www.dynamicdrive.com/dynamici...thumbnail2.htm) -- which is the hover aspect, and the fact that all I had to do was add a class to my existing thumbnails.

Is there a way to allow somekind of trans FX on FF without completely re-writing the thing? I really like it the way it is (on IE).

PS: Having the thing auto-cycle on a timer (not just the main image but the thumbs too... ie: have the corresponding thumb display its hover state when its turn in the rotation comes) would be absolute GRAVY... and worth a small donation IMHO. But I could live with just the trans FX on FF.

Short answer, No.

There are no direct counterparts to the IE proprietary filter transformations in FF. Fading and wipes can be approximated using style opacity and moving elements, respectively. However, when employing these techniques, both the script code and the layout need to become more complex than if using IE only methods.

Either way it's a great script and the site a gem. I've already referred 3 of my coworkers to this place, and I've only just discovered it.
