Help! Need Script To Work On My Blogger!

Help! No matter what I do, I can't get this script to function in my blogger's template! Every time the template reports a problem, and when I fix it, another one pops up! First I had to change all the "&" to "&" and then comes the closing tags or something, but no matter what I do, the problems seem to be endless!

I need someone who successfully made this script work in his blogger blog to give me his code, and then I can just change the text and links I want!
