    Default [CSS] Sticky Footer

    1) CODE TITLE: Stiky Footer

    2) AUTHOR NAME/NOTES: Ryan F

    3) DESCRIPTION: I've just coded a CSS sticky footer that's a lot more x-browser than most out there. It's small too

    4) URL TO CODE: CSS Sticky Footer

This is (or was, it was moved) in the wrong section. It will probably be put in the Dynamic Drive section, under Submit Your Script:

Also, I don't understand why this is a "Sticky Footer"?

It's not really a script, just a bit of CSS to get a footer to stick to the bottom of the page regardless of content length. There are other alternatives out there like Blue's, but mine is just a bit easier for beginners to tackle.

Oh, okay. I don't really think this could make it as a script on DD, considering it's only a simple CSS task, but it does look nice (the page).
I was wondering how you disabled highlighting on the site, though. Interesting.

I used image replacement on the text so it's actually a few background images, not plain text. I've been wanting to do that for a while, but it's not very practical on regular sites

You could use the PHP image library... but then again, load times would be slow.

Seems to work and it is a css code. It is up to ddadmin if it gets included in the css library or not. A key factor might be how well it behaves in complex layouts.
