    Default fade in a single image

    I would like to fade in a single image and then have it remain without fading out again.

    I know this seems simple but to me it is not ... thank you ... viki

    Have you looked at Twey's Fade Object Script? If not, I'm sure there are some floating around either on the forums on the main site itself.

    Hope this helps.

    Default I've seen Twey's Script

    I have already seen that script but I have a couple of extremely newbie problems.
    First, how do I use it? When I insert it on my code page it shows on the actual page.
    Second, I don't want it to do anything but fade an image in and then stop.
    Is there a simpler script or way to do this?
    Thank you

    On your <head> tag paste this:
    Code:
    <script type="text/javascript" src="FadableObject.js"></script>
    <script type="text/javascript">
    window.onload=function(){
    new FadableObject(document.images['imagename'], 1, 10, 0, 99, false, false);
    document.images['imagename'].fadeThread.fadeIn()
    }
    </script>
    And make sure to download a copy of the script.

    Yes, Twey does have a trend to make scripts that are hard to implement to newbies...

    It is on IE7. Care to give us the error message? Does it work on the demo?
