I would like to fade in a single image and then have it remain without fading out again.
I know this seems simple but to me it is not ... thank you ... viki

Have you looked at Twey's Fade Object Script? If not, I'm sure there are some floating around either on the forums on the main site itself.
Hope this helps.

I have already seen that script but I have a couple of extremely newbie problems.
First, how do I use it? When I insert it on my code page it shows on the actual page.
Second, I don't want it to do anything but fade an image in and then stop.
Is there a simpler script or way to do this?
Thank you
As a reference point for Twey if that script is supposed to be working for IE, its not...
On your <head> tag paste this:
And make sure to download a copy of the script.Code:<script type="text/javascript" src="FadableObject.js"></script> <script type="text/javascript"> window.onload=function(){ new FadableObject(document.images['imagename'], 1, 10, 0, 99, false, false); document.images['imagename'].fadeThread.fadeIn() } </script>
Yes, Twey does have a trend to make scripts that are hard to implement to newbies...I have already seen that script but I have a couple of extremely newbie problems.
