    What i am trying to do is get user's name on their first visit and gteet them next time...IT IS NOT WORKING PLEASE CHECK

    you can break the line
    {var exdate=new Date()exdate.setDate(exdate.getDate()+expiredays)
    into
    {var exdate=new Date()
    exdate.setDate(exdate.getDate()+expiredays)
