Fade-in slideshow problems in Netscape

Even though revised, this script still does not function properly in NS6. Or at least it does not function inside my simple table:

The page resizes upon the first image change and the slideshow goes off the screen.

Hmmm I'm using Firefox 1.0 to test out your page, and it works fine. I don't see the script auto resizing the page after the first image, and even if I manually resize the window, the slideshow still remains in the correct position. I don't see why it wouldn't, as this script doesn't use absolute positioning.

When you say NS6, do you literally mean NS6? NS6 is very outdated, and most people have moved on to either NS7 or much more so, Firefox.

I misspoke. Although it does behave properly in Firefox, the script misbehaves on my page in Netscape 7.1. I guess we're talking about 2% of the population, but that just happens to include my client, of course.
