Popup over Link

Hi I am Jane,
and im somehow frustrated

All i want is a dhtml popup, centered over my link!
So.. you know, just a div tag with maybe 300x40px, which will be displayed over my link, when i >>click<< on it. Not above, over it! So that when you click on the the link, the link is hidden under my div layer. The next problem is, i will need to have that at several positions on my page..so i cant give it a absolute position to be displayed...

can any guy help me out with that?
would be awesome... im really hanging at that point
oh..and of course it has to have a close option

Click on the "Search DD" link at the top and you will see a div (tooltip) overlap the link that was clicked. Also, it does have a close option. If that doesn't suite your needs, try searching through DD.
