Need help with what I assume is a mouse over code?

Not sure what this would be considered, and I cannot think of a website I had seen it at (or else I'd just modify that code until I understood it for my own use), but here's what I'm looking for.

Let's say I have a table, and in the left column I have one image, while in the right column I have say 5 links. The image starts out a picture of a baloon, for example, but when I mouse over link 1, it turns into say, a car. When I move my mouse off of link 1, it goes back to a baloon. If I go over link 2, it'll turn into, let's say a cow. Repeat, rinse.

Can anyone please help me with this? Much appreciated!
