Default Interface for Updating Page Content

    Hello Everyone,

I'm looking to create a web page that could be updated by an 'administrator' without them needing to get involved with any code or ftp.

It would, [ideally] allow them to upload new images and text, choose a css classes for the new elements and offer them a preview of the edited page.

I'd also welcome any suggestions as to where I might learn to do this myself. I've learnt a bit of PHP. I don't know if it is possible to create this kind of interface with PHP, or what is more appropriate.

Any help is very much appriciated.

    Thanks,

    .dog.

It's possible, but there are many such "Content Management Systems" pre-created and lying about the Web. I don't use any myself, but you may wish to check out phpCMS or OpenSourceCMS.
