Default Enable Javascript Button On A WebPage?

    Hi all,

Ive been using DD for years and finally have a reason for posting on the boards I have made a site that uses Javascript but I'm worried about some visitors having Javascript disabled on there browser.

Is there script for a simple text link that will automatically enable Javascript once clicked? Similiar to the text links for "Add To Favourites" and "Set As Your Homepage" I suppose?

    Many Thanks,
    downliner

    Don't I wish.
I think the best you can do is make sure you have noscript content telling them of all their great options they'll have, if only they enable javascript on their browsers.
I also always make sure that anything essential, like navigation, has a noscript alternative using plain old html.

Disabling JavaScript is a thing the user must decide. If you use IE 6 you'll get an annoying "ActiveX" bar show at the top of your page. As Veronica said, noscript tags is probably the best way to tell the users if they need JavaScript on.
Most sites have little or no JavaScript anyways.
