Client Review Site - phpDatabase/Wiki??

Hey,

I am trying to create a "review" site where users sign in and review a certain item (ratings etc would be a nice touch as well) on my site so that others can then see them, but am not sure of how to start. Should I go for a php database route or do you guys think using a wiki might be the way to go?

Or has anyone else got any other options that i could explore?

first of all... a good place to start is http://php.about.com/od/finishedphp1...login_code.htm

now that you have a login code make forms to post things on a file, and put <?php include('examplefile.php'); ?>

the login script is really easy, and you can edit it how you want, free

the best thing to do if your not good with php is go to www.tizag.com or maybe www.php.net

when i first start, i started easy, then i started hard to challenge myself and my site is pretty decent
