What OS?

What OSs do you use?
I use Windows Vista, but use XP on occasion and 2000 on vacations.
I use Mac OS 9 sometimes, but not what you'd call 'often.'

Purely Gentoo Linux, although my sister has Fedora installed, so I work with that occasionally.

Huh... you've left me a blank here.

Linux itself is just a kernel, the very core of an operating system. Various distributions exist that build on that core with a collection of software, to result in something a human can use. Each has its own philosophy, configuration, and default collection of software. If you want something that's easy to use, try Ubuntu. Fedora offers more power, I believe, while Gentoo is designed especially for power users, and sacrifices a lot of user-friendliness in the name of control (but this probably isn't a good option for beginners).

Thanks Twey... I think I'll be looking into Ubuntu. I'm not really a computer expert.
I'll have to get another drive first though, right?
