Default Omni Slide not working in Explorer (Firefox is ok, as always)

    1) Script Title: Omni Slide

    2) Script URL (on DD): http://www.dynamicdrive.com/dynamici...lide/index.htm

    3) Describe problem:

Hi guys, i'm doing this website, and omni slide is a great goodie on it, it makes the web site better than it is, and very convenient for the users (so i was told - by the users)

So, the problem - everything seems to work with Firefox 2.0, whereas explorer doesn't seem to like it, in fact its not shown in explorer.

Hier is an URL to check it out http://www.artgenossen-mannheim.de/u...tgenossen.html

Anyone has a hint for me why it works with Firefox, and not with Explorer (except that MS is gay)?

    thanks in advance,
    LV

Try installing the script as shown. See (view its source):

    http://www.dynamicdrive.com/dynamici...slide/demo.htm

Notice that it is in the head. Also, there may be script conflicts. Take care of the proper code placement first as that may be all that is required. If that doesn't take care of it, start taking other scripts off of the page one at a time to see if removing one of those fixes it. If you find an 'offending script' it may be able to be tweaked to 'play nice' with omni slide or, you may have to pick which of the two is most important.

The page looks very good by the way.

    Default thankx john

    Hi John,

thanks for your reply. I did solve it with your help, it was a script conflict. I just moved this script upwards in all the html-files, and it works now in explorer too.

    regards, LV
