dropdown/text field in one???

has anyone ever seen or have code for a form field that works similar to the address bar on a browser? I need to create a single field that has a dropdown with recent searches, but also acts a text field. I could do it in flash, but i'd rather do it with code.

any help is aprrecited.

It's impossible to see which pages your visitor has been browsing, as I'm aware it's outside of web-design's limits.

Do you mean recent searches in/on your site or do you mean searches that they have made in the past on Google (or any other search engine)? If it is just for items on your site, you could do this using AJAX, PHP, and MySQL easily. Take a look at the following tutorial and this should help you out.
